We are thrilled to announce that CricketOne and GAFT  have emerged as the top winners at The Liveability Challenge 2024!

Cricket One, a Vietnamese team that makes protein from crickets, won grand prize in the food and nutrition category, and GAFT, a Dutch team that produces sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) from fat and sugar won the climate grand prize. Both teams emerged top, beating a record-breaking 1,000 submissions from 100 countries.

We are thrilled to announce that CricketOne and GAFT have emerged as the top winners at The Liveability Challenge 2024

The winners each won S$1 million in catalytic funding at the grand finale of the seventh edition of TLC 2024 held at Ecosperity Week from 15 to 17 April 2024. 

This year's edition also featured Green COP, Nandina REM, Terra Bioindustries Inc, tHEMEatCompany Pte Ltd and bound4blue – finalists teams this year came from Singapore, Canada, The Netherlands, Spain, and Vietnam. They were shortlisted for their innovative solutions on climate change, and food and nutrition.

We also congratulate bound4blue who received a total of three S$100,000 investment prizes from AeraVC, OCTAVE Well-BeingFund and TRIREC and Nandina REM who not only won the hearts of our audience during the crowd favourite poll, but also the $100,000 Grant from Enterprise Singapore. 

Since its first edition, TLC has attracted thousands of applications globally, identified 45 finalists, distributed close to S$12million in funding to help start-ups who have gone on to raise hundreds of millions more, and with TLC 2024 receiving another record-breaking year with over 1,000 entries from 100 countries, we wish to thank all our partners, participants, and finalists for a hugely successful edition.
