Neil has spent over 25 years leading sustainable strategic end-to-end agribusiness value chain development and transformation in a number of small-to-medium sized companies within the Swire/Finlays group supplying a variety of national and global customers in the food and beverage sector. Originally from a high-tech engineering background with Schlumberger, Neil has also worked as a non-executive investment advisor to a number of private equity players in the agribusiness sector. He has spent his career developing and leading growth in start-ups, expansions, integrations and turnarounds. Neil evaluated this work through a customer focused, commercial and technical lens to deliver impactful, scaleable and sustainable growth.
He now applies this wealth of experience and passion in getting the basics right and making innovative ideas work for all value chain stakeholders, with a particular focus on smallholders in developing countries, to his role at CABI.
