Mona Mirakhor manages startup sourcing for Techstars’ corporate partners to meet their innovation goals, focusing on technology in sustainability, circular economy, and climate.
Prior to Techstars, she led the due diligence of cleantech companies at a Los Angeles Incubator, advised early-stage founders on product-market fit and fundraising in a program of the US federal government that supports entrepreneurship, was an equity analyst and then a stock trader on the Israeli stock market. She received her MBA from Tel Aviv University and completed part of the degree at Universidad Torcuato di Tella in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is passionate about working to shape our future by supporting emerging technologies and their application to solving our most challenging problems in climate, energy, and sustainability. Mona is a linguaphile and speaks Spanish, Persian, and Hebrew.
