Science and Technology Officer, Flanders Investment & Trade
Kim Demeyer is the Science and Technology Counselor for Flanders Investment & Trade for Asia Pacific, looking specifically after climate and digital related technologies. Based out of Singapore, he supports companies from Flanders, the northern region of Belgium – Europe, to find new opportunities and grow their business in APAC. Kim is a master in renewable energy engineering from KU Leuven, and has over 15 years of experience in the energy sector. He has lived and worked in India and Thailand, covering the Asian and ANZ market to develop thermal and renewable energy power plants, including PV and onshore and offshore wind, before joining Flanders Investment & Trade in 2021.
